In addition to trails and walking paths provided by the Downers Grove Park District, the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County offers more than 145 miles of trails for you to explore. Two forest preserves are right here in Downers Grove.

Hidden Lake - East side of Rt. 53 just south of Rt. 56/Butterfield Rd.

Maple Grove - North side of Maple Ave. east of Belmont Rd. or Gilbert Ave. between Belmont Rd. and Main St.
