Park Pavilion Rentals

Many of our most popular parks feature one or more pavilions with barbeque pits, picnic tables and public washroom access. Host your next company picnic, birthday party, graduation party or celebration in one of our parks. View park locations and amenities through the Interactive Parks Map.

Pavilion rentals for 2023 will be available online for Downers Grove Park District Residents beginning March 6, 2023 @ 9 am. Non-residents may reserve pavilions beginning April 3 @ 9am.

Please note: We verify residency for all pavilions reserved with a Downers Grove address. You may be contacted to provide further proof of residency. Proof of residency required will be a driver's license and 2 current utility bills. Proof of residency must be received within 48 hours of notification or the reservation will be cancelled and a 10% administrative fee will be assessed.

Important Pavilion Rental Information

• Only (1) one rental per pavilion, per day
• Only (1) one rental, per household, per date
• Full rental fees and $100 deposit must be paid at time of reservation.
• Pavilion rentals are offered online only
• We verify residency for all pavilion rentals. If a pavilion is reserved and the household residency is in question, the renter will have 48 hours to provide proof of residency or the reservation will be cancelled and a 10% administrative fee will be taken.
• The person renting the pavilion must present during the entire event.
• Pavilions may be rented May 1 - October 15
• Alcoholic beverages are prohibited
• Refund Policy
  • A refund request must be submitted to the District no later than 5 calendar days prior to the reservation date to receive a refund of deposit fees & rental fees less a 10% administrative fee. Refund requests received in less than 5 calendar days will result in forfeiture of deposit fees and receive a refund of rental fees less a 10% administrative fee.

McCollum Park

For groups up to 120 people

• Electric for small appliances like coffee pots, radios, etc.
• Permanent bathrooms behind concession stand (North side)
• 5 BBQ grills
• 2 Parking lots with 214 spaces, plus 12 handicap spaces
• 24 Picnic tables
• 1.2 Mile jogging/walking trail
• Playground
• Mini golf course and concession stand

Patriots Park
