2026 SUMMER ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE

Batter up! Get your friends together and get out on the field. Don't have a team? No problem! We'll help you find one. The league will play modified IHSA rules. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Play each week on Sunday morning or afternoon. 8-game schedule followed by playoffs at the end of the season. Games each week will either be a double header or single game.

Roster Procedures

• Captains will receive a link by email to forward to team members. Each team member must individually submit their information and agree to the waiver.
• Captains do not need to submit a preliminary roster when registering
• Rosters must be completed by the first night of league play.
• Team Fees: $1,360
• All teams will pay the team fee upon registration. Teams with rosters comprised of 60% Downers Grove residents or are employed in Downers Grove will be given a $100 refund after the first game takes place.

2026 Summer basketball league

Our men's basketball league is for players who want to participate in a traditional open-paced league. Each team plays 10 games on Monday or Tuesday nights. A playoff follows the regular season. League play is governed by I.H.S.A. rules and regulations with local exceptions adopted.

Adult Pickleball Clinics

See what pickleball is all about! Participants will be given a brief overview of the game and learn some beginner techniques. In the beginner clinics, players will learn the rules of the game, scoring, and play format along with the basic forehand, backhand, volley, serve, and basic strategies of the game. In the advanced clinic, players learn strategy and tactics, including split steps, serve and returns, dinks and 3rd shot drop, how to slice and put top spin on the ball.

Adult Pickleball Lessons

Join the pickleball craze! Pickleball, a game that combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong, is sweeping the country. Pickleball players use paddles and whiffle balls to play on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net. Pickleball is a recreational game that is designed to encourage an active lifestyle. This class is for those who have never played pickleball before or who have very limited experience with the sport. It will focus on pickleball basics such as forehand and backhand shots, serving, and court positioning.

Adult soccer

This adult soccer program is a great way to meet new people. Open to all skill levels, this program provides an excellent combination of fun and exercise. Class consists of ten minutes of warm-ups followed by pickup style games ranging from small side to full field matches.

Participants are required to purchase a 5-, 10-, or 20-visit pass through our online registration system to participate. Un-used visits never expire.

ADULT SOFTBALL LEAGUE

2026 Spring/Summer Adult Softball League

All teams will play one evening each week during the 10-game regular season. A single elimination playoff will be played in  each league for the top seeds after the regular season is complete. Games will be officiated following A.S.A. rules with some local exceptions adopted.

Roster Procedures

• Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all slots are filled. 
• Full league fees are due upon registration. No down payments are accepted. 
• Teams who provide full rosters with 60% of team members who pay taxes to the Park District or are employed in Downers Grove will be refunded $100 after the first game is played.  
• Rosters will be submitted through an online form. Details will be sent after teams are registered.

2026 Adult SAND Volleyball

Get ready for another summer of sand volleyball at McCollum Park! Two divisions offer competitive and recreational play for adults age 18 and older. The competitive leagues play with officials. The recreational leagues play without officials and players make calls on the honor system. The format for this co-ed league will be 6 vs. 6. This co-ed league requires minimum of three females on the court at all times. Games are held between 6:30 and 10:30 pm. Team rosters may have up to 20 players.

League play for this 10-game regular season is tentatively scheduled to begin the first week of June.
