The School of the Arts has music teachers with many years of experience teaching and performing. Improve your musical talent by enrolling in piano, guitar, drums, and voice lessons at the Lincoln Center. Music lessons are held in our music rooms on the fifth floor.

Keynotes Choir

In this choir, participants will work on several musical genres including musical theatre, pop, jazz, classical, country and R&B. Singers will learn the basics of warming up voices and bodies, as well as memorizing songs. Also, singers will work on singing harmonies with large and small groups. No experience necessary! There will be a final performance on the last day of class for parents and friends.

Meet our music instructor

Madelyn Kuehl, Piano Instructor

Madelyn has been playing the piano since she was eight years old. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University and her Master of Education degree from National-Louis University. She has taught piano here since 1998 as well as for the Wood Dale, Elmhurst and Addison park districts. Madelyn enjoys teaching piano lessons. She goes beyond the instruction book by teaching her students songs, as well as musical games, which makes the learning more fun.
