
2026 Summer Concert Series
KICK BACK, RELAX AND ENJOY FREE LIVE MUSIC ALL SUMMER LONG AT VETERANS MEMORIAL PAVILION IN FISHEL PARK!
The FREE concerts are held Tuesday evenings June 9 through August 11 and will feature rock, country, blues and oldies.
Doors open and food and beverage sales begin at 6pm each Tuesday. Music will play between 7 and 8:30pm. Fishel Park is located at 1036 Grove Street in Downers Grove.

When does the music play?
Music plays from 7-8:30PM on Tuesdays, June 9 to Aug. 11.
Where is parking located?
Parking is available along Grove Street, the First United Methodist Church parking lot, and the parking garage located at 5059 Mochel Drive.
What food and beverage is available?
Food and beverage sales begin at 6PM. Ticket sales end at 8:10pm and last pour is at 8:15pm. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.
What if there is rain or severe weather?
The Park District does its best to run the concerts even if rain is in the forecast. However, if the forecast shows imminent rain or severe weather, the concert may be canceled for the safety of our visitors, vendors and staff. If rain is in the forecast, please be sure to check our website before visiting. Updates will be posted on our homepage and Facebook page.
During the event, if the Thorguard Lightning Detection System alarm is triggered due to lightning in the area, all visitors will be asked to take shelter in their vehicles and the concert will likely be canceled. Canceled concerts will not be rescheduled.
Do I need to bring chairs?
Yes, guests should bring their own chairs or blankets.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are welcome to attend the Concert Series, but must remain on a 6 foot leash.
May I bring outside food and beverages?
Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages to the event. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. Onsite food and beverage sales will begin at 6pm each evening. Beverage tickets are valid through the entire 2026 Concert Series. Beverage tickets from previous years are not accepted.
Will you accept cash or credit?
Beverage tickets may be purchased with cash or debit/credit. Bills over $20 will not be accepted. The nearest ATM is located at Bank Financial located at 5140 Main St. Beverage tickets are valid through the entire 2026 Concert Series.
Will the playground be available?
Yes, the playground will be available for concert guests.

Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages to the event. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. Onsite food and beverage sales will begin at 6pm each evening.

Wristbands
All adults ages 21+ consuming adult beverages must wear a wristband. Wristbands are available at the ID Check Tent. Any guest who appears to be under age 35 must present a valid ID. We reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest.
