We highly recommend registering for programs through our online registration system.
If you've registered for programs with us or have a fitness membership, you most likely already have an account!
If you have forgotten your username or password - or aren't sure you have one - you can use the self-help options on our Login page by selecting Forgot Username or Forgot Password. If you'd prefer assistance, feel free to contact our registration team Monday-Friday from 9am - 4pm at 630.960.7500.
Already Have an Account?
If you've never registered with the Downers Grove Park District, follow the steps below to create a new account.
Important: Accounts must complete the audit process before being eligible to register. If you plan to register on the opening day of our seasonal Registration Guide, please create your account in advance so it is ready and approved before registration begins.
Create an Account
- When creating your account be sure to add your family members so they can be included in program registrations. Note: If you miss this step, you'll need to submit an Additional Family Member Request Form to have them added to your account once it's been created.
Verify Your Email
- You will be required to verify your email address before submitting your account information for approval. Note: Email verification does not mean your account has been approved. All accounts undergo a residency and eligibility review. You will receive a follow-up email once your account has been reviewed.
Residency Audit
After your email address has been verified, your account will be reviewed and audited by staff within 24-48 hours to check for duplicate accounts, eligible family members and verify residency within the Downers Grove Park District.
- If your address pays taxes into the Downers Grove Park District but residency is unclear, proof of residency for all adults listed on the account may be required before your account can be approved. If documentation is requested, you will have 48 hours to provide it. Failure to submit proof within this timeframe will result in your account being approved as non-resident, allowing you to register for programs at the non-resident rate.
- If your address does not pay taxes into the Downers Grove Park District, your account will be approved as a Nonresident account. Note: Even if you live in Downers Grove, if your address does not contribute taxes to the Downers Grove Park District, you are considered as a Nonresident.
Accounts created outside of our Customer Service hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm) may take up to 24-48 hours for approval
Account Approval
Once your account has been reviewed and approved, you will receive an email confirmation letting you know you can access your account.

In-Person, drOP-OFF, mail or email
Simply bring your completed registration form in-person with your payment to either of our registration desk locations during our Registration Hours.
Drop-off after hours: please use the secured drop box located outside the entrance doors at the Recreation Center, 4500 Belmont Road.
Mail your registration form to Downers Grove Park District, Attn: Registration, 4500 Belmont Road, Downers Grove, IL 60515
Email your completed scanned registration form to regi_staff@dgparks.org
Forms that are dropped off or received by mail or email will not have priority over online or in-person registration. Enrollment in programs will not take place until payment is made. All registration forms must be complete with the waiver signed.
INFORMATION SAFETY
For your safety, credit card numbers should never be disclosed on forms. Registration staff will contact you when your form is received for payment.
