With almost 600 acres of parks and facilities, there are thousands of opportunities for individuals of all ages and interests to grow, play, imagine and explore.

Join Downers Grove Park District for an event of epic proportions at The Big Bash: 75th Anniversary Celebration! Party the day away with free activities for the whole family at McCollum Park. Listen to live music, enjoy tasty eats from local food trucks and sip some wine and beer. Visit the kids areas including inflatables, games and crafts. Compete in contests, join the Birthday Parade or partake in a scavenger hunt. Stroll the Park District & Sponsor Showcase to receive goodies and participate in hands-on activities. It's a day of celebration not to be missed!
