Celebrate Earth Week with the Downers Grove Park District and beautify your local parks for spring! Volunteers will help prepare the parks for the season by mulching trees, picking up sticks and debris, and by removing trash at each location. Gloves, tools and staff assistance will be provided. Please dress for the weather and to get messy. All volunteers will receive light snacks and an oak seedling to plant at home. Individuals, organizations or volunteer groups are invited to lend a hand!
A volunteer waiver will be emailed in advance and available the day of the event. This event is for ages 12 and up. A legal guardian must complete the volunteer waiver for individuals ages 12 to 17.
