Winnie the Pooh is coming to Downers Grove!
Winnie the Pooh and all his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood have come to Downers Grove! Visit Lyman Woods to check out Winnie the Pooh’s, Piglet’s and other characters' homes around the Lyman Woods trails or partake in one of our Winnie the Pooh inspired programs each season. We’ll also have life-sized Winnie the Pooh character cut-outs to visit in your neighborhood parks (see listing below) throughout the year. To cap off the series, we’ll have a festive celebration to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the publication of AA Milne’s first Winnie the Pooh book in October 2026 (more details to come).

Celebrate the 100th anniversary of A.A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh by exploring character locations throughout Downers Grove Park District parks. Discover each character’s home along the trails at Lyman Woods and enjoy themed programs offered throughout the year.
