All aboard! Families experience a train ride based on the book “The Polar Express” by Chris Van Allsburg. Board at the Downers Grove Main Street Station to travel to the North Pole (Aurora Train Station). During the journey, storytellers read “The Polar Express” while you enjoy chocolate milk and cookies. Santa Claus boards the train at the North Pole for the return trip. Children 11 months and under can travel for free on an adult’s lap. Children must be accompanied by an adult and should dress for the weather. Strollers cannot be accommodated. Please note on your registration form if you wish to travel with another family. Resident registraton begins Aug. 12. Non-resident registration begins Aug. 19. Ticket refunds before noon on Nov. 9 will be assessed a 10% service charge per ticket. No refunds issued after noon on Nov. 9. A maximum of six seats per household may be reserved.
