Hearth & Home: The Significance of Downers Grove's Historic Houses

Mon September 10, 2018

Houses have been at the center of Downers Grove residents' lives since the 1830s, providing places to eat, sleep, work, play and bond with family. "Hearth and Home" explores the histories of houses built between the 1830s and 1930s and the families, past and present, who turned them into homes.

Temporary exhibitions are displayed in the Museum Annex, and are open to view during Public Tour Hours: Monday through Friday from 12 to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
