The Big Dill Pickleball Tournament

Experience an exhilarating day of fast-paced action at our annual Big Dill Pickleball Tournament! Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to the game, this exciting event promises thrilling matches, friendly competition, and an unforgettable experience for all participants. All games will be played as doubles, with divisions for every skill level and age group: Recreational, Competitive, Recreational 55+, and Competitive 55+. Players must include their pickleball rating when registering, and only one player is required to register both teammates. Games will be self-officiated, and the tournament format may be adjusted depending on the number of entries. Registration includes a Big Dill T-shirt and awards for top players and teams. Newbies will have a chance to experience a mini group lesson, and all will have the time and space to play. Fitness for Pickleball

The goal of this class is to increase overall strength, as well as improve endurance, speed, and agility on the court to prevent the most common injuries in pickleball. Floorwork may be involved. Mats will be provided and modifications will be demonstrated. Please note that this is a fitness class is designed to enhance injury prevention, balance, and agility specifically for pickleball players. It is not a pickleball instructional class. No class June 19. Advance registration is required.
Youth Pickleball Lessons

Ready to try the fastest growing sport in America? Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong. Pickleball can be enjoyed by all ages and skill levels and is a fantastic hobby for young players for the same reason it is great for adults. The nature of the game is a strong equalizer from a skill-based perspective. We will cover pickleball basics such as grip, forehand, backhand and dink shots, serving, and court positioning. Players will also learn scoring and pickleball rules as well as have plenty of time for game play. Equipment will be provided. Bring a labeled water bottle. Advance registration is required.
Pee Wee Pickleball Lessons

Join us for a fun, active class where little ones can learn the basics of pickleball! This class is perfect for tiny players who have never played pickleball before or are just starting out. We'll focus on learning how to hit the ball with a paddle, take turns, and move around the court. With easy games and playful activities, children will practice things like swinging, bouncing, and hitting the ball over a low net. We’ll also learn how to play together as a team and take turns in a fun, friendly way! The class will be full of games, colorful balls, and lots of smiles. Age-appropriate equipment will be provided. Bring a labeled water bottle. Advance registration is required.
Adult Pickleball Lessons

Join the pickleball craze! Pickleball, a game that combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong, is sweeping the country. Pickleball players use paddles and whiffle balls to play on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net. Pickleball is a recreational game that is designed to encourage an active lifestyle. This class is for those who have never played pickleball before or who have very limited experience with the sport. It will focus on pickleball basics such as forehand and backhand shots, serving, and court positioning. Players will also learn scoring and the rules of the game through drills and playing time. The slower pace of this class will give players the opportunity to develop the skills needed to play this fun and energetic game. All equipment will be provided. Advance registration is required.
