Accessibility Audit and Transition Plan

The Downers Grove Park District, in cooperation with SEASPAR, is currently updating its Accessibility Audit and Transition Plan. As part of this process, we are seeking public feedback related to the accessibility of our parks, programs and facilities. Through SEASPAR, we have identified you as someone who might be able to provide insight that would be helpful when developing the District’s Transition Plan.
In an effort to have a better understanding of the barriers and challenges within our parks, we would like to hear about your experiences while visiting our facilities or participating in Park District programs. We will be discussing the ADA Transition Plan during our monthly meeting of the Park District Board of Commissioners being held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 15th, in room L10 of the Recreation & Fitness Center, located at 4500 Belmont Road. Come share your experiences and learn more about the Park District’s strategy for eliminating barriers within our parks!
