Fishel Park

Description
This park is located in the heart of downtown Downers Grove, on the north side of Grove Street, a short distance west of Main Street. The park contains a small play area and the new Veterans Memorial Pavilion, a large outdoor band shell used for the District's summer Family Concert Series and other special events. The park also contains a large lawn that is attractively landscaped with mature vegetation and picnic areas. Please note that the restrooms are only open during concert events.
Hours
Dawn to Dusk except evenings when permitted lighted activity (operational, artificial lighting) is occurring. The park will close immediately after lights are turned off until dawn the following day. No person shall remain in park system unless a permit is granted in advance. Security lighting shall not be considered operational, artificial lighting.
