What do honey and beer have in common? Both are made right here in the Downers Grove area! Lyman Woods and Goldfinger Brewing Company have partnered together to put on this special one-day excursion. Participants will learn all about honey, brewing, and how the two come together to produce some delicious brews!
At Lyman Woods, participants will learn about the production and properties of honey, suit up and visit the apiary, partake in a honey tasting, and participate in a hands-on honey harvest demonstration. After a catered lunch back at Goldfinger, the brewers will give a tour of the facility and explain the basics of beer-making, followed by a tasting that will include the limited hometown-blend crafted by Goldfinger with Lyman Woods' honey.
Participants will meet at Goldfinger Brewing Company. Registration fee includes transportation between the brewery and Lyman Woods, lunch and a sampler of Goldfinger/Lyman beverage.
