Join Downers Grove Park District for the third annual Dog Daze Event from 12-3PM on Saturday, Sept. 14, at Fishel Park!
Pack up your pooch and plan for a day of fun-filled activities for you and them. For the pups, we will have a non-competitive agility course, a splash zone, pet pampering station, free pup cups, a doggie fashion show, photo booth, a peanut butter licking contest, and more! For the people, enjoy food vendors, pet vendors, live music, and adult beverages. Beverage tips will be donated to West Suburban Humane Society.
Schedule of activities
Live Music with Liz & Hala: 12:30-3PM
Liz Berg and Paul Hala, 2 veterans of the Chicago music scene, have teamed up to form one of the thickest sounding duos around. With male and female vocals, two guitars, a bass drum and foot tambourine, they cover lots of musical ground without using any pre-recorded tracks.
Non-competitive Agility Course: 12-3PM
Dogs of all skill levels can enjoy navigating obstacles and showing off their playful side!
Splash Zone: 12-3PM

Dogs can cool off and make a splash in a refreshing water play area, perfect for some wet and wild fun!
Pet Pampering Station & Photo Booth: 12-3PM
Treat your furry friend to some well-deserved TLC at our pet pampering station, then capture the moment in our 360-degree photo booth for a picture-perfect memory!
Peanut Butter Licking Contest: 12:30PM, 1:30PM, 2:30PM
Bring your pup to compete in our peanut butter licking contest, with separate divisions for small and large dogs. The fastest licker wins a prize!
Doggie Fashion Show: 1PM
Pups can dress to impress and strut their stuff down the runway at the Doggie Fashion Show where the Best Dressed Pup wins a prize.

General Event Rules
- Dogs must remain on a leash at all times unless in the Splash Zone or Agility Course Area
- By attending the Dog Daze event, you will be expressly assuming the risk and legal liability and waiving and releasing all claims for injuries, damages or loss
- Dog waste must be cleaned up by owners and disposed of in the provided receptacles
- Unfriendly animals will not be permitted to participate
- All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations
- Food is not allowed in the Splash Zone or Agility Course
