Now open for play!
This fall, the playgrounds at Loy and Northside Parks underwent exciting renovations! Construction kicked off on Friday, August 23, and the playgrounds were temporarily closed to the public during this period. Thanks to smooth progress and favorable weather, the newly enhanced playgrounds reopened as planned in mid-November. Families can now enjoy the upgraded play spaces, featuring fresh equipment and improved amenities designed for fun and accessibility. We appreciate the community's patience and look forward to seeing everyone back at the parks!
Parts from both existing playgrounds were donated to Kids Around the World. Kids Around the World, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The organization will use the parts in refurbished playgrounds in other countries. Learn more at https://www.katw.net/.
