about the improvement project

The McCollum Park Improvement Project is supported by a $600,000 Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant awarded by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, announced by Governor JB Pritzker on December 16, 2024. With these upgrades, the Park District is ensuring the park remains vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming for generations to come.
