Sounds of Summer: Enjoy Free Concerts at Fishel Park
DOWNERS GROVE, IL – This summer, Fishel Park in Downers Grove will once again resonate with lively tunes during Downers Grove Park District’s 2025 Summer Concert Series, proudly presented by Kelly Stetler Real Estate. The 11-week series offers free, family-friendly concerts every Tuesday evening from June 3 through August 12. Hosted at the Veterans Memorial Pavilion in Fishel Park, located at 1036 Grove St. (just west of Main Street) in Downers Grove, performances run from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, with food, beer, and wine sales beginning at 6:00 pm.
Concertgoers are encouraged to come hungry, as a rotation of food trucks and vendors will be on-site each week. For attendees aged 21 and over, adult beverages will be available for purchase. A detailed schedule of food vendors and the adult beverage menu is available at www.dgparks.org.
Reflecting on past successes, Michelle Pusateri, Assistant Director of Recreation, noted, “In previous years, Fishel Park has welcomed thousands of visitors each summer, solidifying its place as a cherished community gathering spot. We’re thrilled to unveil this year’s lineup, which spans genres from rock and country to blues and oldies, ensuring there’s something for everyone.”
