Basketball leagues are offered in the summer, fall and winter. During the fall and winter Leagues, an eight week season is played on weekend mornings at the Recreation Center. Practices are held once a week at a District 58 school for one hour. During the summer season, two weeks of practice are followed by games on Wednesday nights only. Our goal is to keep players from the same school on the same team. Should enrollment and roster numbers not accommodate this, then players from different schools may be combined to form teams. Divisions are divided by grades ranging from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Check the seasonal guide for early registration dates.
Each player must wear the league uniform, which consists of a blue and white reversible jersey. Any player who does not have a blue and white reversible jersey or who needs to replace theirs will need to purchase one for an additional fee. School sites for practices are to be determined by the Park District.

Competitive divisions are available for boys grades 5-8 in the Fall and Winter only. Friend and coach requests will not be accepted.
Teams will be formed via coach's draft. Players attend a player evaluation day on December. Evaluations are held at the Recreation Center, 4500 Belmont Road.
Any Player registering after the draft is completed will be added to the team with the least amount of players.
Practices begin the first week of October. Games take place on Sundays beginning mid-October. Games are played at the Recreation Center. Games may take place on other days and times depending on enrollment or court availability.
