Many of our most popular parks feature one or more pavilions with barbeque pits, picnic tables and public washroom access. Host your next company picnic, birthday party, graduation party or celebration in one of our parks. View park locations and amenities through the Interactive Parks Map.

GILBERT PARK

  • For groups up to 75 people
  • Electric for small appliances like coffee pots, radios, etc.
  • Permanent bathrooms
  • 4 BBQ grills
  • 2 Parking lots with 61 spaces, plus 2 handicap spaces
  • 12 Picnic tables
  • Playground

HUMMER PARK

  • For groups up to 100 people

  • 1.2 Mile jogging/walking trail

WASHINGTON PARK

  • For groups up to 50 people
  • Electric for small appliances like coffee pots, radios, etc.
  • Portable bathrooms (1 on East side, 1 on West side)
  • NO BBQ GRILLS
  • 1 Parking lot with 50 spaces, plus 3 handicap spaces
  • 4 Picnic tables, plus 2 tables sets
  • 2 Playgrounds (1 child, 1 toddler)
  • Drinking fountain
  • 1 Baseball diamond (Stadium seating for 64)
  • 1 Soccer field (Full perimeter seating)

WHITLOCK PARK

  • For groups up to 45 people

Special Event Permits
In order to accommodate the unique needs of large groups, park permit requests with 100 or more attendees are considered a special event and require a special event application to be completed in addition to the park permit request. Fees are based on a four hour minimum.

Online Rental Availability

To view online availability, click on REC Connect. Once on the REC Connect home page, select 'Pavilions' located under the 'Facility by Type' options at the bottom of the page. Fill in the required information questions. If you would like to narrow your search options by location, expand the 'Show Search Criteria' for more options. Click 'Search' to view availability. If you have any questions, please call the Lincoln Center at (630) 963-1300 or the Recreation Center (630) 960-7250.

To reserve online, a Username and Password is required. If you already have a Username and Password, click here to log-in and reserve your space. If you require a Username and Password, click here to get a REC Connect online account then by clicking on 'Need an account?' If you have forgotten your password click here (please provide link to the forgotten password page).

Please note: Rental requests less than 3 days in advance cannot be processed online. Please call our registration office at 630-963-1300 and staff will try to accommodate your request.
