Prince Pond
Franklin Street and Linscott Avenue
Hours: Dawn to Dusk except evenings when permitted lighted activity (operational, artificial lighting) is
occurring. The park will close immediately after lights are turned off until dawn the following day. No person shall remain in park system unless a permit is granted in advance. Security lighting shall not be considered operational, artificial lighting.
Prince Pond is situated immediately south of Franklin Street and east of Linscott Avenue. The park is dominated by the aesthetic charm of the pond that is nicely landscaped. The area immediately north of the pond, south of Franklin Avenue, has a play area, a shelter, benches and picnic tables. The mulch play surface meets CPSC guidelines and is ADA compliant. The pond is used for ice skating during the winter. The pond edge and adjacent areas were recently renovated by the District, Village and local residents.
