Once the historic Lincoln School from 1867 – 1974, the building was purchased by the Park District and renovated to what is now the Lincoln Community Center. Located on the south side of Maple Avenue between Washington Street and Main Street, this six-level building is the District's most important indoor recreation resource and home to many of its programs including the District's Pre-school and Active Adult Center. The convenient downtown location makes it the perfect place for business meetings, seminars and group gatherings.
The building contains the registration office, meeting rooms, art and ceramic rooms, a small gymnasium, various classrooms, an auditorium, a lounge and newly remodeled kitchen facilities. Most spaces are available for rental on a seasonal basis.

To view online availability click on REC Connect and then click on the "Guest" button. Then mouse over the "Search" button located in the green highlighted bar to pull down options and pick "Facilities" when facilities expands pick "View Calendar" then choose a "Facility" and "Month" and "Year" then click "Search" to view availability.
